About the Co-Owners
Our Story
NexGen Roofing & Contracting started as a promise between two kids. Jeremy Grier and Chase Leonard met in sixth grade, played sports together, and cut grass around town for extra cash. Even then, they talked about owning a business together someday.
In April 2023, Jeremy made it happen. He had learned the roofing trade working part-time for an established company, and he was ready to build something of his own. About a year and a half later, Chase joined him as co-owner, bringing the experience of a business he’d built and sold himself. Together, they kept a lifelong promise and have been growing ever since.

Chase joined as co-owner in 2024, bringing experience from building and selling his own business. He helps lead NexGen alongside Jeremy and keeps the hometown feel intact as the company grows.

We Support the Community that Built Us
We Support the Community that Built Us
Every year, we donate a roof to a nonprofit, a veteran, or a family in need who has no other way to get one. Our first went to the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter in Cartersville in 2026. With help from our vendor partners, we donated the shelter’s roof and gutters.
It’s our way of thanking the community that’s backed us from day one. Every like, every share, and every NexGen shirt we spot around town reminds us how much this community has given us.

Every job starts with a free, honest inspection. We photograph and document your whole roof, then tell you what it actually needs, even if that's just a repair. When your job is on the calendar, our crew is in your driveway at the time we promised, and we handle the details, from materials to insurance paperwork, so the hardest part for you is picking a color.
For shingle roofs, we install GAF Timberline HDZ, the same shingle we'd put on our own families' homes. When the job is done, we walk the finished roof with you and hand over your warranty paperwork in writing. You'll never be just another job number, however much we grow.
